The intersection of two sets A and B is the collection of all the elements which are common in both the sets A and B. Intersection of two sets A and B can be denoted by A ∩ B.

Union of Sets

The union of two sets A and B is the collection of all the elements which are present either in set A or in set B. Union of two sets A and B can be denoted by A ∪ B.
